Chhichhore is a 2019 Bollywood action-romance drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor and Prateik Babbar in lead roles. Chhichhore will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt.Ltd and distributed by Fox Star Studios.
The film revolves around the lives of seven friends who reunite after years of crisis. Ani is saying that people usually talk about their plans to travel after they do something really well. But they don't often talk about how to handle it when things don't go well and we fail.
Ani gets really upset about this.. His teenage son Raghav is struggling between life and death in hospital after attempting suicide after he failed his engineering entrance exam. Chhichhore borrows heavily from the real world. Aniruddha aka Ani's (Sushant Singh Rajput) world comes crashing down after his son tries to commit suicide for failing an exam.
When a dejected child loses all hope of life, Ani sends a distress signal to her closest friends from her engineering days. Along with his ex-wife Maya (Shraddha Kapoor) and his best friends, he walks down memory lane and tells his son that they were a gang of "losers" who always put up a brave chin in any difficulty.
